Jinky Aterrado
Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
Born and raised in the Philippines, Jinky immigrated to the United States when she was 15. Moving from one country to another has taught Jinky resilience. Her life experiences and losses shifted her direction away from her original career plan and toward becoming a therapist. In 2024, Jinky completed her Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy in the Seminary at Fresno Pacific University.
Jinky has an innate desire to help people. She comes from a background with little to no knowledge about the importance of mental health. She appreciates uniqueness and thrives in working with individuals from different backgrounds.
She provides services to children, couples, and individuals, utilizing client-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy to validate her clients’ experiences and help them understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She also employs EFT for couples therapy, therapeutic play with children, and the more modern Neurofeedback technique. This wide range of methodologies ensures that Jinky can provide solutions that are tailored to her client’s specific needs.
