Jinky Aterrado
Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
Born and raised in the Philippines, Jinky immigrated to the United States at 15 years of age. After completing High School in the Bay Area, Jinky worked on pursuing a career in the medical field. However, her work towards a career was put on hold, as she moved to another state and eventually another country being a military dependent.
Moving from one country to another, away from support system has taught Jinky resilience. Her life experiences and losses shifted her direction toward becoming a therapist. Jinky completed her Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy in the seminary at Fresno Pacific University.
Considering her cultural background and other rich cultures she encountered, Jinky gained the passion to learn more and share with others about the benefits of psychotherapy. Her goal was fueled by her desire to help people, as she came from a background with little to no knowledge about the importance of mental health.
Jinky appreciates uniqueness and aims to continue working with individuals from different backgrounds. Jinky provides services to children, couples, and individuals.
