“You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.” – John Kabat-Zinn

This quote captures the heart of how I enter into your therapeutic journey. I am passionately driven to serve through a client-centered approach, and my goal is to help you foster sustainable change and growth.

Early in my life, I experienced many events that were challenging and overwhelming. Along the way, key individuals played a significant role in guiding me toward becoming the person I am today. Their impact sparked a deep desire within me to give back—to support others in their journeys toward building resiliency, facilitating healthy changes, and establishing a sustainable path toward holistic healing.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix and my master’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy. I utilize several evidence-based interventions in therapy, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and I am currently in the process of completing training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I bring together my educational background and lived experiences to meet clients exactly where they are—without judgment or bias. I view the therapeutic alliance, our partnership, as a key component of effective therapy. With this in mind, I strive to honor everything that makes you unique by acknowledging and incorporating cultural, familial, and spiritually significant principles when developing a collaborative treatment plan that aligns with your goals.

I am committed to walking alongside those I serve as they pursue healing and wholeness.

I work with adults, children, and families.
My treatment focus areas include anxiety, depression, life transitions, family conflict, stress management, and a variety of other social-emotional concerns.
